FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

What is SensWEIGHT™, who is it for and what is it for?
SensWEIGHT™ is a system designed for remote diagnostics and monitoring in the weighing industry and is a specific industry solution within UCS™ CLOUD Solutions. The main users are professional and specialized companies, performing work on these installations, service or other professional activities connected with the given activity. The implementation of the system will make it possible to have an overview of the status of the installation, remotely and with the storage of all measured data in cloud storage. Typical clients are weighing companies that take care of the functionality of various types of scales, such as bridge scales or bridge scales, weighbridges, road scales, car scales, belt scales, screw scales and others.

What can be learned from the measured data and how can it be used?
From the measured data, essential information regarding the state of the installation can be found, such as the state of the scale and individual installed force sensors, the weight of the weighed silo, and others depending on the specific solution. At the same time, the obtained data is input data for further analysis using artificial intelligence for the prediction of events, thereby predicting future problems.
Where is the data displayed and stored? How can customers see them
Data are securely sent to cloud storage via the UCS™ X1 and UCS™ X1 DIN hardware modules. Using the dashboard on the web interface, you can display current and historical data clearly and graphically. You can view the data both on a computer/laptop and on a mobile phone/tablet using a web browser.
How customers will find out about possible problems with the monitored installation?
You will be informed of any problems or the deteriorating condition of the installation by e-mail and SMS, which will alert you that the installation shows anomalies that could lead to non-functionality and problems. The system is set so that when certain limit parameters are exceeded, the system informs about the given situation.
The system can also be implemented in existing installations?
Yes, the system can be implemented on both new and existing installations. Where the devices are already installed, it is necessary to verify their readiness for screening with the UCS™ X1 and/or UCS™ X1 DIN modules. In other installations, it is necessary to analyze the possibilities of installation and fastening with regard to the possibilities of the given premises. Implementation options are solvable almost everywhere.
Multiple installations can be monitored simultaneously?
Yes, the system allows you to monitor any number of installations at the same time. A map is prepared on the dashboard with the location of all the installations managed by the specialist company, and after clicking on a place on the map, information about the status of the specific installation is displayed. Setting alarms is of course also feasible for all your installations without restrictions.
Recently, we have been hearing about the implementation of artificial intelligence in many fields of industry, agriculture and others. It can also be applied in your case?
Yes, but AI requires a prior learning process for which it needs data. It is necessary to have a certain minimum amount of this data and, from this point of view, the implementation of the system needs to be implemented as soon as possible in order to obtain the largest possible amount of data. The more data, the greater the accuracy. For next year, we are preparing the possibility of using neural networks to predict bridge scale maintenance.
Is the implementation complex and expensive? What will the implementation bring me?
With regard to financial and time savings, this is a tool that will bring you a higher profit, by minimizing downtime during repairs, maintenance and inspection, better organization of work, less frequent stressful situations and faster responses of your service company in case of any problems. Remote diagnostics options will allow you to check the state of the installation in more detail before leaving for the reported defect, which will give you a better overview of what awaits you at the installation site.
